the Space Needle city

No, it's not KL Tower. It's the Space Needle, located at my favorite place, Seatte, WA. US of A.

Seattle, located northwest of US of A,made famous by the movie Sleepless in Seattle is top on 'my favorite cities' list. When work brought me there 2 years ago, I thought to myself it was a dream came true.

Seattle is also the origin and headquarter location of many great brands like Starbucks, Boeing, Amazon, Nordstrom and Microsoft (in neighboring city). It has a very matured coffee culture which sees the birth of many well-known gourmet coffee chains such as Starbucks, Seattle's Best Coffee and Tully's.

When you are in town, remember to visit the first Starbucks Coffee store in the world, opened in 1971, located at Pike Place Market. Most of its original interior, even the logo is maintained as it is in 1971. No seats are provided, so just grab a cup of your favorite vanilla latte and snap a quick pic on the way out. This is probably the only Starbucks store that you can snap pictures without being stopped by the baristas.

The legendary first Starbucks Coffee store, located at Pike Place Market. If you are lucky, you might get entertained by a group of talented musicians right outside the store.

While you are at it, do not miss taking a stroll along the busy Pike Place Market and get hold of some local produce and fresh flowers at the Pike Place Market. Do drop by and watch the famous Flying Fish in action at one end of Pike Place Market. You'll know you are there when you see a life-size bronze pig.

Pike Place Market, opens when sun rises and closes when sun sets, brings you a local marketplace experience. Don't forget to experience the Flying Fish, located exactly below the huge neon billboard.
